Late prophet Ajanaku's wife moves to rented apartment as his family fight over his assets

Joy Ajanaku, the wife of the late spiritual leader of Christ Victory Chapel International, prophet Ireti Ajanaku, who died August 18th (or 22nd), has been forced to move out of her matrimonial home into a rented apartment after her husband's family allegedly made life difficult for her after the prophet passed on. According to reliable sources, the ministry's board moved Joy Ajananku and her children out of her husband's Lagos home into a 3-bedroom flat in Abule Egba, Lagos after constant harassment from the prophet's family, who are insisting that Joy is not legally married to their son.

Joy and Ireti Ajanaku lived together for 7 years before finally formalizing their union with a court wedding in 2010 but the family insist that the wedding never took place...and want her removed as the man's next of kin. Family members are now fighting over his assets said to be worth millions of Naira. 

Despite having issue's her late husband's family, Joy Ajanaku is on great terms with members of the church her husband left behind. The ministry's board agreed to install her as their new leader and said the late prophet anointed her as the chosen one before his death. They also said they have a wedding certificate to prove that she was truly married to their late spiritual leader. Joy and some members of the church are getting ready to take late Ajanaku's family to court over his estate.

Former TV personality Emmanuel Ugolee weds

Emmanuel Ugolee reigned supreme on TV many years ago, hosting Nigeria's first ever music video countdown before retiring from the limelight to do other things. I told y'all recently that he's battling chronic kidney disease (Read about that HERE). Well, there's great news now.

Yesterday Friday September 13th, he married his girlfriend Catherina Ajayi at the Ikoyi registry. His close friends, rapper Modenine, actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, comedian Basketmouth and singers Sound Sultan and Djinee were at the wedding.

Oh and I heard Emmanuel's new bride has offered him her kidney if tests go well and she's found to be a match. His parents are too old to donate their kidneys and his only sibling who matches has donated hers. Now this wonderful girl who loves him very much has offered hers. Beautiful stuff. Former TV personality Emma Ugoli set to undergo kidney transplant

For those who don't know Emmanuel Ugoli, he had the first ever all Nigerian music video countdown responsible for blowing up a lot of Nigerian acts when he was a top present at MBI 13 years ago.

Emmanuel has been battling chronic kidney disease for a few years now. Both his kidneys are dead and must be replaced to keep him alive. He survives on dialysis three times a week, which cost almost N50k per session.

Emma's sister gave him one of her kidneys two years ago in India but the kidney failed due to complications. Emmanuel now has to undergo another transplant but this time he's doing it in Nigeria at St Nicholas Hospital, Lagos Island. He is awaiting doctors flying in from the UK to St Nicholas the first week in September. Wishing him a successful surgery this time. 

Man stands trial for raping his own mother in Ekiti State

A 27 year old man, Akintunde Omoteinde, is currently standing trial for allegedly raping his own mother. According to a report by Punch, the sick incident happened on August 23 at their residence at the Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State.

A resident of the area who spoke with a Punch reporter said:

“The news was shocking. Not many of us believed the story at first but the truth cannot be hidden for too long. The woman, a petty trader, was said to have been raped by her son. She was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

"I can tell you that the family is presently living in shame. We hear that the family members are planning to move out of the house but we cannot confirm that.”

The accused young man was in court this past Tuesday and was remanded in prison custody until October 16th, when the case comes up again for hearing. Rape your own mother? Unbelievable!

Singer Michel’le opens up about being physically abused by Dr. Dre

Who knew he too was/is a woman beater? Singer Michel'le and super producer/rapper Dr Dre dated from 1990 -1996 and had a son named Marcel born in 1991. Michel'le went on to marry Death Row Records founder/CEO Suge Knight in 1999 and had a daughter with him.  

In the final episode of the inaugural season of “R&B Divas L.A.” Michel’le opened up about being physically abused by Dr. Dre and revealed the abuse from him and another boyfriend was the reason she got a nose job, because of the physical damage she suffered in their hands.
